Four questions with our wonderful Coach Gabriella:

How long have you been teaching disciplines like yoga, mindfulness, and dance?

I’ve been teaching yoga, mindfulness, strength training, mobility, and dance since 2013, firmly believing in the mantra that “movement is medicine. This belief isn’t just theoretical; it’s deeply personal. I teach because I’ve felt the transformative power of these disciplines in my own life, so I live what I preach.

My mission is to help others feel revitalized, so they can live life to the fullest.

In what ways do your sessions help individuals cope with the stress and challenges of today’s fast-paced world?

In today’s fast-paced world, especially in the workplace, we often find ourselves ensnared by stress and lost in our thoughts. My sessions are designed to channel energy away from mental burdens, grounding it back into the body. Health is the foundation upon which everything else rests, and if it wavers, all else seems inconsequential.

Can you elaborate on your strategy of “Move every day, in a way that sparks joy”?

It is a simple strategy to live a happy life. This joy could be as simple as sharing a long hug or breaking into a sweat, enjoying a favourite song. Movement and/or meditation is a way of moving energy from our head into the body and reducing stress.

How does your teaching style reflect your personal philosophy and approach to life?

As I often say, If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hands. My teaching style mirrors how I live my life. I’m kind and fair, and while I’ll gently push you beyond your limits, I’ll always do it with a smile, reminding you that we’re all on a journey of growth. – Sprintcrowd coach, Gabriella Picano.
